Miera Consultants International recently placed a Director of Reimbursement with the rapidly expanding Columbia/HCA Healthcare System. He was to handle three to four hospitals in one city. Within a matter of months he was promoted to handle half of the United States with a total of roughly 175 hospitals.

St. Anthony Hospital in St. Petersberg, Florida engaged Miera Consultants to find a Medical Director for one of their specialty areas within the hospital. Our search was completed within sixty days, and the candidate who accepted the position lived within the city limits of the same city where St. Anthony is located. As a matter of practice we frequently do this because it saves money for our client, and because a candidate's family considerations are of paramount importance to us. There are many families who prefer not to move. We have been able to secure candidates in the same locality as the position which is offered for many of our searches.

The Holy Cross Healthcare System asked us to find a Chief Information Officer for their home office. They asked that we find an individual with both Bachelors and Masters degrees with one of those degrees to be in Information Systems. We found and they hired a candidate who had three degrees in Information Systems, BS, MS and PhD.
